Burberry brings in Wood for new people role

Luxury fashion house Burberry has appointed Leanne Wood to the newly created role of chief people and corporate affairs officer.

Luxury fashion house Burberry has appointed Leanne Wood to the newly created role of chief people and corporate affairs officer.

Wood joins from drinks company Diageo where was group HR director.

In her new role she will be responsible for corporate affairs and HR for the firm globally.

Wood takes up her new role in November.
