International executive search firm Stott and May, which specialises in the technology, business and finance sectors, has launched a Cyber Security Centre for Excellence.

The Centre will operate as a training academy, with Stott and May’s cyber security specialists training sales professionals in the advanced methodology of the cyber security recruitment market.

Simon Kouttis, manager of Stott and May’s cyber security division, leads the Centre.

Its programme consists of two weeks’ intensive classroom-based interactive training, combined with discussion and independent study. Each trainee is paired with a senior recruitment consultant, whom they will then work with for eight months.

After graduating from the Centre, candidates can join Stott and May’s UK cyber security team, with the potential to move to the New York office.

The Centre has seen six graduates so far, with eight more to start in the near future.
