David Mann has stepped down as executive director at Hamilton Bradshaw-backed retail and consumer recruiter Exsurgo, having sold his interest in the business.

Mann, who helped launch Exsurgo in 2009, told Recruiter in a statement he was a key player in the recent deal that saw recruitment process outsourcing provider Matt Burton Associates take a controlling stake in the Exsurgo business.

He added he included his own shareholding in the deal and having completed a three-month operational handover will now leave for pastures new and a couple of undisclosed short-term projects running into the new year.
