Integrated business management software provider Access Group has acquired recruitment technology provider First Choice Software.

In a statement, the firms say that with First Choice’s RDB ProNet software, the deal will give UK recruiters a full service software provision, supporting them through the entire recruitment cycle from sourcing the right candidate to billing clients and paying staff.

First Choice Software, whose clients include recruiters Randstad, Impellam and the Pertemps Network, was founded 20 years ago by chief executive Roy Snart, chief technical officer Adam Toth and non-executive director Adam Whitney. It has a turnover of £6m and 45 members of staff.

Snart and Toth will now join Access to help drive its growth plans within the recruitment sector.
