Australian cloud-based talent management software provider NGA.NET has changed its name to Acendre.

Commenting on the reason for the name change, Mike Giuffrida, co-founder and chief executive of Acendre, said the new brand name is an acronym of Attract, Connect, Engage, Develop and Retain “reflecting the human resources vision that Acendre drives for its clients”.

Acendre provides secure, cloud-based software solutions for recruiting, on-boarding, performance, succession and development, people analytics and planning. It launched in 1997 under the brand name New Generation Australia, which later became NGA.NET.
