Following launches in the Nordics and Germany, Tinder-style job app with video CVs, SelfieJobs, has launched in the UK.

It allows candidates to apply for jobs with a ‘like’ – on swipe of their smartphone screen – and a 22-second maximum video pitch, similar to dating app Tinder.

Founder and chief executive Martin Tall said in a statement it allowed young people to express themselves in a way they are unable to do on paper and was particularly popular among companies in the service industries.

The app first launched in Stockholm, Sweden at the end of last year.
