Innovations agency Xpert Inventions has launched tabs, an app and web portal that automates the deployment process for freelancers, contractors and temporary or full-time staff.
The end-to-end staff deployment service aims to cut man-hours in terms of managing contractor deployment by 40%.
Recruiters, both agency and in-house, can send multiple job alerts and push notifications to workers, as well as rate them on a scale of 1 to 5. The service uses a geo location search to find available workers and enables them to be booked in to work, as well as managing timesheet sign off and approval.
Candidates can manage their own profile details but are also alerted if they are not compliant to work and do not have the right documents uploaded to their profile. They can also accept shifts by text if they don't have a smartphone.
Speaking at a launch event for the service at London restaurant The Ivy, Xpert Inventions managing director Greg Wixted told an audience a medical recruiter has already signed up to the service, as well as two large employers including a drinks manufacturer and an actor extra talent agency. He did not identify any of the customers.
The service is currently available in the UK and Europe, and will be rolled out in the US and Canada at the end of the month.
