Royal London to double headcount in Cheshire

Mutual insurer Royal London plans to double its headcount at its Wilmslow office, creating 450 roles.
Tue, 24 Mar 2015Mutual insurer Royal London plans to double its headcount at its Wilmslow office, creating 450 roles.

The life and pensions insurer expects to expand the size of its location in Wilmslow in East Cheshire for the new recruits, who will include pensions admin and support system staff, a company spokesperson told Recruiter.

The spokesperson said auto enrolment rules, first introduced in 2012 compelling UK employers to provide workers with a workplace pension, was the main reason for the expansion, with the firm gaining marketshare in the pensions space over the “past couple of years”.

He added while no decision has been made about who will recruit for the roles, the company does use a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider. Resource Management Solutions, part of the Resource Solutions Group, has held the contract since 2012.
