The UK government has announced plans to create 750 civil service apprenticeships.

Non-graduates with five A* to C grades at GCSE (including Maths and English) can now apply for 450 Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeships, which offer permanent employment at executive officer level and 300 new Operational Delivery Apprenticeships, a lower-level apprenticeship, which sees apprentices begin their career in a role that helps provide services to customers.

Roles are available in departments across the country, ranging from the Department for Work and Pensions in Dundee to HM Revenue & Customs in Hastings.

Successful applicants will gain work experience and a certified qualification.

Applicants should visit the civil service apprenticeship site before 16 March 2015.
