Specialist international telecoms recruiter Penta Consulting has this morning [28 January] announced the completion of a management buyout (MBO), led by its senior executive team.

The transaction, for an undisclosed sum, will see founder Robert Harverson exit the business.
Co-founder Richard Wilson will remain on the board in a non-executive capacity.
The senior team comprises managing director – telecommunications Jamie Sobrany; finance director Ian Storrier; international contract sales director Nicky Iandoli; managed services sales director Peter Collins; founder and chief executive Paul Clark; and chairman John Foley will continue to lead the business.
Penta was established in 1998.
The team received financial support from bank HSBC and advisors Mishcon de Reya and Smith & Williamson.
