An education recruiter has launched a campaign to get more teachers back into the classroom after a long career break.

Provide Education, which helps 2,200 teachers find supply teaching posts and permanent jobs across South and West Yorkshire and the East Midlands, is now targeting teachers who are thinking about returning to the profession after some time out of the classroom.

Currently, this group make up just 5% of the candidates on the recruiter’s books.
