Invenias raises funds for expansion

Invenias, provider of software solutions to the executive search and specialist recruitment sector, has completed an additional funding round, raising US$2m (£1.3m).

The extra amount takes the total external funding to $4m. The funding round was led by fund managers MMC Ventures.

In a statement, Invenias chairman Mark Farmer said the money would help fund expansion plans, starting with the opening of a new San Francisco office early next year.
