Specialist Recruitment Partners (SRP), based in Bedfordshire, has landed contracts worth £525k in the Middle East after receiving support from the UKTI (UK Trade and Investment).

A UKTI representative helped the firm, which specialises in training, unemployment and welfare, join an education, training and trade mission to Qatar, Oman and Abu Dhabi last year.

The UKTI believes this kind of opportunity allows UK companies to showcase their expertise to key decision makers in the education and training sector.

In each market delegates had the opportunity to hear from government and education representatives who were knowledgeable about the key issues and opportunities involved in exporting to the region. They were also able to hold individual meetings with local contacts, potential agents, distributors and customers.
