Public sector recruitment specialist TLTP Group, which places teaching staff in schools and ancillary healthcare staff into the NHS, said it now requires all agency workers to verify whether they have recently visited or plan to visit any of countries affected by Ebola.

The latest guidance states that if this is the case, the agency worker will not be supplied to any TLTP client unless 21 days have lapsed since leaving the affected country and the worker has remained symptom-free.

The company says it is committed to doing whatever it can to ensure its clients are protected from any potential contact with Ebola, which has become an escalating humanitarian crisis across the world.

TLTP specialises in the supply of professionals to both the public and private sectors worldwide.
