Hotel chain Travelodge is creating 206 jobs and opening six new hotels in the lead-up to Christmas.

The positions will be:
  • management apprenticeships (40)
  • head office jobs, including customer services, marketing and IT (40)
  • roles in new hotels, including managers, receptionists, cleaners, bar staff (126)

The new hotels will be on the South coast of England in Southampton; Llandudno in North Wales; Raynes Park, Wembley and Greenwich in London, and Egham in Surrey.

The chain already has 513 hotels in the UK.

The management apprenticeships are geared towards A-level school leavers.
