Mon, 29 Sep 2014The Hong Kong government has begun recruiting for a broadcasting director to head Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK).
Hong Kong’s The Standard reported the government is seeking applicants with at least 15 years’ experience in senior positions, with a university degree or equivalent and have been working in media for at least 15 years.
RTHK is the region’s public broadcaster and is operated as an independent government body.
With the current unrest going on in Hong Kong, with pro-democracy protesters in a stand-off with government riot police, it will be interesting to see if there is an impact on the recruitment process.
