Ridgeons builds team with Corbyn as HR director

The UK’s healthcare sector faces a greater staffing crisis if anti-immigration rhetoric puts off EU healthcare professionals, who are desperately needed to offset shortfalls in global candidates, claimed a leading healthcare recruiter.
Thu, 31 Jul 2014 Ridgeons, the East-England timber and builder’s merchant, has appointed Ann Corbyn as HR director.


Corbyn has a speciality in human resource development strategies and has previously held HR roles at organisations such as CHS Group, AMP Financial Services and Tesco.

She said her aim was to position the company as a place of choice for work, “where people want to work and want their families to work”.

The company, founded in 1911, has 25 branches across the East of England.
