Construction and transport was the fastest growing sector for management consultants in 2013, according to the Management Consultancies Association (MCA).

The MCA found that the employment of management consultancies grew by 16% to reach 35,000 consultants across MCA member firms.
The overall value of activity rose by 8% to £4.8bn. However, within the construction and transport activity levels increased by a massive 60%.
