Wrightbus, the Ballymena bus company, is creating 130 jobs at the firm’s factory in Antrim.

The family-owned company, which currently employs some 1,800 staff, is creating the new posts at its facility for the design and manufacture of vehicle chassis.

The company is investing £14m, more than £10m of which will be for research & development projects.

Approximately 70 of the new jobs are already in place, while the rest will be added over the next two years.
