Thu, 29 May 2014Rethink Talent Management, part of ReThink Recruitment, has launched a scheme with the aim of improving the candidate experience for graduates.
The company is asking graduates to submit a short video outlining the impact of current market conditions on their ability to secure their first role, and what their experiences have been. This feedback will then be shared with organisations, to enable them to design and shape future graduate recruitment campaigns.
Stephen Gilbert, practice lead at Rethink Talent Management, says:
“The job market is a tough place for graduates, as competition for roles heats up and recruitment processes become increasingly stringent. Business commentators continue to imply that the future workforce is entering employment with little in the way of required business skills, so securing an ideal role is much more difficult.
“If we’re to successfully bridge this gap between corporate expectations and education, we must first get to grips with just what the candidate experience of the recruitment process is.”
