US company CRS acquires UK’s FlexPlus

UK logistics recruiter Flex Recruitment Plus has been acquired by US recruiting and consulting company Corporate Resource Services (CRS).

CRS, which has a $1bn [£595.4m] annual turnover, is quoted on the US NASDAQ [National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations] Stock Exchange. In addition to staffing, recruiting and consulting services, CRS provides cloud-based enterprise applications and hosting services.

Development plans for FlexPlus will see the Hinckley, Leicestershire-based company move offices in July to treble its existing space, a company statement said. Flex will also export its ‘iintegra’ online recruitment product to CRS for use in the US recruitment market by Q3, 2014.
