Six arrested in latest GLA anti-trafficking operation

The arrests were made yesterday [Wednesday 2 April] by officers investigating people trafficking for the purpose of labour exploitation in the vegetable processing industry.

The men, all from Great Yarmouth, were arrested on suspicion of trafficking and the unlicensed supply of workers.

A woman also from Great Yarmouth was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

Meanwhile in Suffolk, police also arrested a 29-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds and a 37-year-old woman from Ipswich on suspicion of trafficking and supplying unlicensed workers.
