Chairman of InterQuest Group Gary Ashworth’s recent sale of 250,000 shares in the company at a price of £1 (as notified to the company on 9 April) was unrelated to the business, according to a spokesperson for the listed technology and IT recruitment firm.

Chairman of InterQuest Group Gary Ashworth’s recent sale of 250,000 shares in the company at a price of £1 (as notified to the company on 9 April) was unrelated to the business, according to a spokesperson for the listed technology and IT recruitment firm.
The spokesperson tells Recruiter that Ashworth “sold a small fraction of his shares in order to deal with a private matter. The sale and its timing had nothing to do with his views on the company's trading or the price of the shares”.
Following the sale Ashworth still holds 12,509,912 shares, approximately 36.7% of the issued shares of the company.
