US retained executive search firm Raines International has promoted Shami Anand (right) to managing director.

Anand has led the growth of the firm’s procurement and supply chain practice, as well as supporting the finance, general management and human resources practices.

Before joining Raines in 2012, Anand spent 18 years at PepsiCo in the accounting and global procurement organisations, most recently as vice president, and previous worked at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC – PricewaterhouseCoopers).
