In a speech later today from the World Economic Forum at Davos in Switzerland, Cameron will say that the practice of off-shoring, where companies move production facilities to low-cost countries, could be reversed as fracking helps to reduce UK energy-costs for businesses.

“There is now an opportunity for those jobs to come back,” he is due to say.
