Global recruitment firm Ambition Group has opened an office in Tokyo to meet the demand for recruitment services for mid- to senior-level professionals in Japan.

The Tokyo office will focus on recruiting for mid to senior level professionals within technology and finance & accounting for multinationals in Japan.

The company says the new office extends its geographical coverage across Asia. It already has offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Sam Griffiths, managing director of the Tokyo office, says: “Business sentiment has improved in Japan over the last 18 months, which has flowed through to ever greater demand for bi-lingual professionals from domestic Japanese companies and multinationals.

“As a ‘global boutique’ firm, Ambition’s more personalised service to both clients and candidates means we are confident of quickly establishing ourselves as a reputable player in the Tokyo market.”
