Staffline acquires Leicestershire agency Magna Recruitment

Listed recruitment and outsourcing firm Staffline Group has acquired Magna Recruitment, a single-branch agency in Lutterworth, Leicestershire.

Established 20 years ago, Magna has drivers, industrial and office divisions.

Staffline says the deal is a ‘bolt-on acquisition’, meaning Magna will add to the company’s existing branch network to broaden its geographical reach.

Andy Hogarth, Staffline’s chief executive officer, tells recruiter.co.uk Magna will retain its name but now be branded in Staffline house styling and colours.

He also says that the company’s directors, Christopher Taylor and Linda Taylor, will leave the business after a handover period in the next few weeks, but staff will remain in place.
