Tech recruiter Morson acquires Vital Services Group from administration

Technical recruiter Morson Group has acquired various business units of engineering services firm Vital Services Group from its administrators Deloitte.
Tue, 5 Nov 2013Technical recruiter Morson Group has acquired various business units of engineering services firm Vital Services Group from its administrators Deloitte.
Morson’s acquisition came immediately after the administrators were appointed yesterday (4 November), and covers seven Vital companies. Three further group firms have not had administrators appointed.
According to a Deloitte press notice, Vital employed just over 200 people and around 2,000 jobs were dependent upon the company.
The seven businesses have been reformed as Vital Human Resources, which is a new company within Morson.
Morson chief executive officer Ged Mason says: “Vital has an extremely strong brand within the rail, power and infrastructure markets, particularly in skilled blue-collar disciplines, and as such Morson and Vital are extremely well placed for future growth.”
