Oracle’s cloud HR service selected by City of Rotterdam

Software and solutions firm Oracle’s human capital management (HCM) service Oracle HCM Cloud is to be deployed across the 10,000 staff of the Netherlands’ second-biggest municipality, the City of Rotterdam.

Oracle HCM will handle several HR processes, reducing costs and boosting efficiency at a crucial time, after new government policies have broadened the duties of Dutch municipalities.
The City of Rotterdam has previously used Oracle business software, standardising this in 2005, as well as Oracle Talent Management Cloud.
Implementation starts in November and should be completed by this April [2014].
