The agreement will see NES fill global contract subsurface roles for Statoil, with the majority of roles based onshore in Norway and offshore on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
This comes at a time of growth for NES, where recent developments have included a refinancing plan and a new ambition to expand its branch network, the opening of a new office in Stavanger, Norway, and a new agreement to become the recruitment partner of the Institution of Chemical Engineering.
NES associate director Michael Wallace says: “There are a lot of projects starting up across the continent, with a number of new discoveries being made in more testing environments where more advanced technology and skills are required, such as subsurface.”
