FINANCIALS: Staffing firm TrueBlue’s revenues rise in Q3

Revenues of $451m (£327m) compared with $379m in the same period in 2012, and net income of $19m was up from $14m last year, according to results available via the company's website.

And the firm, which acquired 37-branch recruiter The Work Connection earlier this month, its third acquisition this year, is looking for further acquisitions.

Chief executive officer Steve Cooper says: “We are encouraged by the strong demand for our services and believe there are opportunities ahead to pursue additional acquisitions that fit our strategies and enhance our ability to serve our customers.”

Cooper says revenues made this year will “add approximately $300m of go-forward annual revenue”.
