Mon, 28 Oct 2013Industrial vehicle maker Caterpillar is to create “100 high-quality manufacturing positions” at a new £7m manufacturing project in Northern Ireland.

The new roles will be in material-handling machine assembly in Caterpillar’s industrial and waste group.

The project is being supported by £1m in funding from Invest Northern Ireland and support from the Department for Employment and Learning worth £220k.

The decision comes after the announcement of 200 new back-office roles at the firm earlier this year.
