Technology, finance and engineering recruiter GCS Recruitment Specialists has recorded increased profits on the back of higher turnover.  

For the year ending 30 April 2013, the company made profits after tax of £909k (2012: £645k) on turnover of £34.27m up from £31.49m in the previous year.

Technical and management recruiter Fuel Recruitment also increased its profits in 2013 to 688k, from £535k in 2012. Turnover rose from £17.62m to £21.89m. These figures include those of Fuel Recruitment's subsidiary, Pivot RPO.
