The year also saw Best Connection acquire Bailey Employment Services and Matrix Training and Development, both of which alongside the core business will “be aggressively developed over the succeeding years”.

Turnover reached £198.9m, including the £5.6m from two acquisitions, while total group GP was up from £26.6m in 2011 to £29.9m, including £860k from the acquisitions.

Group operating profit dropped from £5.1m to £4.5m.
