For if a report in today’s Daily Mail is right, coffee could soon becomes a useful tool in recruiters’ armoury in their perennial search to find the perfect candidate.
According to the Mail, research by clinical psychologist Dr Ramani Durvasula indicates that the type of coffee we drink reflects our personality.
Durvasula’s observational study of 1,000 coffee drinkers found that black coffee drinkers were no nonsense, straightforward individuals, who tended to be abrupt and dismissive of others, while latte drinkers tended to be neurotic and eager to please others.
Those who preferred double decaffeinated were found to be controlling, hung up on detail and generally obsessive.
One unanswered question from this study: where does this leave tea drinkers?
