Restaurant group Côte has streamlined its UK recruitment process through the implementation of recruitment software specialist PeopleBank’s applicant tracking system (ATS).

The company says the move has “slashed administration by 65%” for the recruitment team. Since implementing the ATS, Côte has drastically reduced the time involved in processing up to 2,000 CVs per month.

Scott Williamson, head of recruitment at the 40-outlet chain, says that the firm’s previous email-based system could not cope with the 500-plus applications received weekly.

He adds that the implementation should additionally “make the often arduous task [of applying for jobs] easier for the candidate”.
