Mon, 5 Aug 2013Mike Ellis, the director of business development at medical recruiters MSI Group, tells recruiter.co.uk that the firm’s new office in Milton Keynes, which “tends to be quite a hub for medical recruitment”, should be a “real springboard” for the business.

Other prominent specialist medical recruiters with headquarters in the town include DRC Locums and FAST 50-listed ID Medical, while HCL Doctors also has a branch there. Part of HCL, the head office of HCL Doctors, is in Skipton in North Yorkshire, which Ellis describes as another key location.

The office, which opens its doors for business today, is MSI Group’s latest since it opened in Birmingham and Ware earlier this year. Milton Keynes will primarily be a location for the MSI Recruitment brand, its framework business.

MSI Group also includes an international business, with Australia, Dubai and Singapore offices, nursing brand NRS Global, off-framework doctors business LCI, GP recruiter MSI GPs, and pharma recruiter MSI Pharmaceutical.

The Milton Keynes office is being overseen by James Scott, the operations director for the allied health professionals (AHP) and doctors division, who has been with the company since February.
