Wed, 28 Aug 2013Transport, distribution and utilities recruiter Milestone Operations has been awarded three ongoing contracts by supply chain firm DHL Automotive to supply 140 drivers, across DHL operations at auto firm Jaguar Land Rover’s Ellesmere Port and Halewood depots and at construction machinery maker JCB’s Fradley depot.

This win means Milestone now supplies all three DHL supply chain divisions in the UK – having previously worked with its consumer and retail arms.

Milestone says it is one of just seven providers of drivers on DHL’s preferred supplier list (PSL), which was recently reduced from 36.

Ian Evans, transport manager for DHL Freight, says: “Milestone has been selected to work with DHL Jaguar Land Rover firstly in the North-West due to its track record with other DHL sites across the UK.”

Milestone was named the UK’s Best Temporary Recruitment Agency at the 2013 Recruiter Awards for Excellence, sponsored by Eploy, in May.
