Tue, 13 Aug 2013IT and telco recruiters and other would-be suppliers to the government’s cloud computing and ICT system G-Cloud can now apply for their place on the new supplier framework, G-Cloud 4 (G4).
The tender process to G4 is now improved based on feedback from previous suppliers, as described on the G-Cloud website, with clearer instructions, pre-population of company details and information for existing suppliers. There is also a choice of two systems for submissions, either the Government Procurement Service (GPS) eSourcing Suite, or the Government Digital Services’ equivalent portal.
The ‘clarification period’ in which potential applicants may ask question of G-Cloud is open until 4 September, with responses due by 13 September ahead of a submission deadline of 23 September.
Suppliers should be notified of the outcome on 16 October, ahead of the framework agreements going live on 29 October.
