GRMSearch lays down the law and compliance recruitment in Brisbane

Hong Kong-based legal and compliance recruiter GRMSearch has opened its doors in Brisbane, Australia.
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Hong Kong-based legal and compliance recruiter GRMSearch has opened its doors in Brisbane, Australia.

The location was chosen because “many of our international clients have opened offices in Brisbane or merged with locally based firms to build a presence there”, explains chief executive officer Rob Green.

Green adds that Brisbane “is a major part of our long-term strategy for the wider Australian market” at the company. The company started up in Hong Kong in January 2009 as CML Recruitment, before re-launching with the GRM brand in February 2013. It also has offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore.

The new office is led by returning Brisbane native Ashley Smith in the role of director, who says he is “delighted” to return to the city after 13 years working in finance and recruitment in London, Singapore and Sydney. He joins from Singapore-based recruiter KS Consulting.
