US temporary and contract jobs growing

Temporary and contract employment in the US was 2.1% higher in July than in the same month last year, according to the American Staffing Association (ASA) staffing index.

The index value for July was 94, indicating that staffing employment has experienced little change over the past 30 days (+0.2%).  Based on the ASA index, since the beginning of 2013, temporary and contract employment has grown by 7.9%.
