The new scheme, Make Your Mark, will provide 16-25-year-olds with a month-long attachment, with a view to on-the-job training and the opportunity of a job with Marks & Spencer at the end.

Marc Bolland, chief executive officer at Marks & Spencer, calls on other businesses to make a similar commitment by offering work placements to young people, which reflects 2% of their workforce.
