Wed, 31 Jul 2013Global recruiter Hays will be recruiting for professional roles at Premiership football club Manchester City after the organisations commenced a three-year partnership.
Hays, the club’s official recruitment partner, also plans to launch a global marketing programme using City’s crest, player imagery and brand messaging with a focus on digital and social media platforms, as well as match-day advertising and media interview backboards.
Sholto Douglas-Home, the group marketing director at Hays, says that with the Premiership being “by far the most popular league in the world”, Hays sees the deal as “an exciting platform to help us take our brand and our message to a broader global audience”.
He adds: “There is also a commercial element to the partnership, whereby we will be supporting its recruitment needs. This will be focused in the professional areas where we already recruit. Given that the Club is investing and expanding due to its recent success, there’ll be plenty of work to do here too.”
Hays will also “be ensuring global employees can experience the City partnership with extensive engagement and incentive programmes”.
