GPS locums framework places for 39 recruiters

The new Government Procurement Service (GPS) framework for the supply of locum doctors to the NHS has gone live, with a total of 39 recruitment providers appointed.
Tue, 23 Jul 2013The new Government Procurement Service (GPS) framework for the supply of locum doctors to the NHS has gone live, with a total of 39 recruitment providers appointed.
The framework, vaild for two years, covers the full range of grades and specialties of hospital doctors as well as general practitioners. While designed principally for the NHS, it is accessible by all central government departments.
Comensura, HB Retinue and Matrix SCM have been appointed as the three neutral vendor managed service providers. A total of 32 managed service providers and 24 fixed-term employment agencieshave also been named, with significant crossover between these three groups making for a total of 39 recruiters.
