Expectant mums can expect up to £1,000 as MaternityCover.com launches

Specialist maternity cover recruiter MaternityCover.com will launch nationally on 6 August, offering a cash payment of up to £1,000 to pregnant women whose posts are covered by the agency.

Other women will receive the same value in retail vouchers  – the equivalent in value to seven weeks of statutory maternity pay.

Paul Jenkins, founder and chief executive officer of MaternityCover.com, says:  “Having a baby is incredibly exciting, but it can also be extremely challenging on a financial level. We understand this and hopefully our scheme will help by giving every expectant mum who works with MaternityCover.com something to start that journey.”

To celebrate its launch, MaternityCover.com will also be rewarding the first 50 mums who successfully refer the firm to their employers with a free Apple iPad 2.
