EADS celebrates Franco-German treaty with international internships

Aerospace and defence firm EADS is marking 50 years of the Élysée Treaty and Franco-German co-operation by offering 50 internships apiece to French and German youths not in employment or training.

EADS is one of two industrial sector companies on the advisory board of the Franco-German Youth Office, which is assisting in the programme’s launch.
The programme will offer on-the-job training, mentoring and support in a multi-lingual and international environment.
Tom Enders, EADS’s chief executive officer, says: “Young people with an international mindset are the lifeblood of our company and of our still young industry.”
