Wed, 3 Jul 2013Employment branding and recruitment media firm Bernard Hodes has combined with on-demand talent technology provider Findly, with the new firm owned by investment firm Symphony Technology Group.

This is according to Findly, which notes that while the deal was completed last Friday (28 June), Hodes’ owner Omnicom “has requested we hold on formal press releases until after their earnings call later this month [July 2013]”.

The new company will be rebranded “eventually, in some way, but carefully and over time”, according to Findly’s statement.

“Immediately, the companies will run essentially side-by-side like *very* [sic] strategic partners,” the statement continues, with Findly’s chief executive officer taking on the role of overall CEO, while Hodes chief operating and financial officer Joe Fortunato will report to him and continue to manage the Hodes business.

No mention is made in the statement of Alan Schwartz, Hodes’ president and CEO. His LinkedIn profile stills lists him in that role at Hodes, with a company spokesperson not responding to a question from Recruiter on the matter.
