Two Dutch co-operative recruitment firms have voted unanimously to merge, forming new co-operative recruiter AB Werkt Zuid-Nederland.

AB Werkt and AB Zeeland have been in discussions for several months. The new firm has five branches, with a combined average of 1,800 workers supplied daily, in particularly to the agriculture, food, manufacturing and landscaping industries.

The merged organisation has an estimated turnover exceeding €60m (£51.2m).
