Wed, 26 Jun 2013Job site CV-Library tells Recruiter it is able to actively target professional jobseekers ready to search and apply for jobs online through placing its adverts on Channel 4’s 4 on Demand (4oD) online service.
The company tells Recruiter it is targeting a market of ABC1 adults, primarily aged over 30, with its clickable online TV adverts (pictured, Right), which allow candidates to click to register their CV and/or search for jobs right away.
The adverts are appearing on programmes played in the evenings, after 6pm. Lee Biggins, managing director of CV-Library, explains: “We’re catching candidates when they’re sitting at their computer or relaxed at home, so they’re more likely to register their CV and search for jobs straight away.”
Programmes would include 24 Hours in A&E, Dates, Dispatches, Location, Location, Location and Undercover Boss.
Biggins also says that the company is upping the ante on its mobile strategy, in line with the growing trend for recruiters to go mobile, and supplements its outdoor advertising campaign launched at the beginning of this year. Click also for an initiative from job site Monster, which advertises live, local jobs on bus stops.
