Professionals in Oman are the most optimistic across the whole Middle East and North Africa region in terms of salary expectations for 2013.

This is according to a survey of over 15,000 jobseekers and professionals across the region carried out by job site Bayt.com.

Just under a quarter of professionals in Oman (24%) expect a salary raise of more than 15% this year.

This compares to 22% in Qatar, 21% in the UAE and 20% in Kuwait. Workers in Egypt (17%), Lebanon (15%) and Jordan (10%) were less demanding.

As reported by recruiter.co.uk earlier this month, Bayt.com is launching further events in its Virtual Job Fair series, which is says “provides the ultimate level of convenience for today's busy professionals”.
